GD-Series Brake Discs: More safety – Cooler Brakes and Great Looks
• Radial grooves draw air under the pads thus promoting cooler running brakes • Grooves enable degassing of the pads during braking • Dust, debris and water are expelled by the grooves • Grooves promote flat and even wear of the brake pads • Dimples - unlike through-holes that tend to promote cracks – prevent uneven wear and scoring of the discs as well as the brake pads • All discs are surface coated in order to avoid premature corrosion • Some degree of “wind noise” during heavy braking may be observed
