The MFD15 Gen2 is equipped with an OLED screen, which offers best readability even in direct sunlight. This kit is supplied with a vehicle-specific bezel and a connection kit. It is operated using the two push buttons on the faceplate. You can also connect the optional rotary knob.
Choose up to eight pages and customize the display to best suit your vehicle:
The MFD15 Gen2 features integrated WiFi access, allowing configuration via smartphone or PC.
Using oDSS, you can fully configure the display, log values (license required), upload your own startup image and update the firmware.
A frequently asked question is: Which values can I request from my ECU? The answer: ALL – the MFD15 Gen2 supports ISO 11898-2 and SAE J2284.
ECU manufacturers define which values are transmitted via CAN bus. Documentation or DBC files can be imported into the DSS. Depending on the ECU, up to 64 sensors can be queried.
OBD2 via CAN (11bit/29bit) is supported, as well as vehicle-specific protocols like UDS and TP2.
Included by default:
If your ECU is not listed, the required TRI/TRX file can be downloaded or requested from the CANchecked database.
For VAG vehicles from model year 2008 (and some older), deep protocol-based data is available, including oil temperature, boost pressure, transmission temperature, cylinder-specific ignition correction, high/low pressure, wastegate control and more.
The integrated LED can function as either a shift light or a warning LED.
As a shift light, up to 8 colors and RPM thresholds can be defined, including flashing behavior.
As a warning LED, minimum and maximum thresholds per sensor can be configured. When exceeded, the LED flashes in the defined color and the shift light is temporarily disabled.
Included with every delivery:
All six analog inputs support linear 0–5V and NTC sensors. CANchecked sensor curves are preloaded and work plug & play:
A pre-assembled 4-way AIN harness can be used for sensor connection.
With the appropriate license*, an ethanol sensor can be connected directly via a dedicated pin.
Live Logging: With the Live Logging license, sensor data can be logged via oDSS and downloaded to your smartphone or PC.
All sensors are logged (for OBD and UDS only the currently displayed ones). Graphical visualization can be selected.
Flex Fuel ethanol sensor: With the ethanol license, connect the sensor directly using a 10K pull-up resistor. Ethanol content and fuel temperature are displayed and logged.
CAN Switching and AIN forwarding: Use the buttons or rotary knob to switch CAN functions and forward analog input voltages to the CAN bus.
