This allows you to continue using your car’s existing active damping system — for example in models like the VW Scirocco, VW Golf VI, VW Passat, BMW 3 Series, and others — while also benefiting from seamless lowering.
The best part: aside from replacing the stock adaptive suspension with the KW DDC Plug & Play coilover suspension, no further modifications or changes to the vehicle’s onboard electronics are necessary. Thanks to the KW DDC plug connection, the adaptive KW dampers are simply connected to your vehicle manufacturer’s original connectors. The factory control unit then takes over the regulation and control of the KW DDC Plug & Play coilover suspension.

Thanks to the exclusive use of stainless steel and durable components, the performance of the corrosion-resistant KW coilovers is maintained under all weather conditions. The dirt-resistant trapezoidal thread and polyamide thread ring ensure adjustability even after a snowy winter. In a salt spray test, no oxidation occurred on the KW coilover struts, ensuring that height adjustability remains smooth even after years of use.
